Flexible – fast - efficient  

The modular train platform system by FUCHS fulfills all requirements for modern train platforms. Different dimensions and designs allow for every application: The different widths and lengths can be combined with each other – adjusted to planning.  

The reinforced concrete supporting plates are produced in our plant with particular surface including step edge and guidance strip and then are transported directly to the site by truck. The static system of the side-boarding and central platforms consists of the superstructure as twin wall sheet and the precast concrete foundations.  


System structure by FUCHS

The width of the train platform plates can vary between 2,50, 3,00 and 3,50 m and can be designed according to different requirements. Also system lengths are variable. The length can be chosen from 3,00 / 5,00 / 7,50 and 10,00 m, depending on transport , assembly options, existing curve radius and eventually existing special components.  

In case of obligatory limits concerning train platform widths, like e.g. by existing rail runs on central platforms, the single dimensions of the train platform plates can be adjusted to the localities. At the end points or meeting points of the wall sheets, the precast concrete foundations have to be located.  



The directive DS 813 - status 2006 of the DB AG - and DS 804 – a directive for railway bridges and other civil engineering works – apply for the “Deutsche Bahn AG” and are the basis for our dimensioning and layout in its current version including the comprising constructional rules.  

In addition to the traffic load, an additional load of 1 kN / m2 is allowed without further proof. The load of 1 kN /m from the horizontal waler pressure of the railing at a railing distance of max. 2,70 m has been considered at dimensioning of the plates as well.
